X-Ray

Dental x-rays are a powerful tool to identify oral health issues early. These devices make it easy to see what’s happening inside your teeth and gums, detecting early signs of cavities, gum disease, and other problems. Whether it's a routine check-up or unusual symptoms, dental x-rays provide a clear and accurate picture beneath the surface. Ask your dentist about incorporating dental x-rays into your dental care routine for a healthy and beautiful smile!
Othopantomogram (OPG)
An Orthopantomogram (OPG) X-ray, commonly referred to as a panoramic dental X-ray, is a specialized imaging technique that provides a comprehensive view of the entire oral and maxillofacial region. This non-invasive diagnostic tool offers valuable insights into dental health by capturing a single X-ray image that includes the teeth, jaws, temporomandibular joints, and surrounding structures.
Skull PA View
Skull X-rays can be categorized based on the specific views or angles from which the images are taken. Some common types of skull X-rays include:

1. Lateral Skull X-ray: This X-ray is taken from the side of the head. It provides a profile view of the skull, allowing for the evaluation of facial bones, nasal structures, and the overall shape of the skull.

2. Anteroposterior (AP) Skull X-ray: This X-ray is taken from the front of the head to the back (from the front to the back of the skull). It provides a frontal view of the skull, including the orbits (eye sockets), nasal bones, and frontal sinuses.

3. Posteroanterior (PA) Skull X-ray: This X-ray is taken from the back of the head to the front (from the back to the front of the skull). It provides a reverse frontal view of the skull and is often used to visualize the skull base and structures like the sella turcica (a bony saddle-like structure in which the pituitary gland sits).
Intra Oral Periapical (IOPA)
Intraoral Periapical (IOPA) X-rays are a fundamental tool in modern dentistry, allowing for close-up visualization of individual teeth and their surrounding structures. This type of X-ray provides a detailed view of a specific tooth’s crown, root, and supporting bone, helping dental professionals diagnose and address various oral health concerns.
